A Craftsman Style Vanity

September 20th, 2010 No comments

The Craftsman style of furniture began around the turn of the last century and has endured as a type of home and furniture today. If you are looking for clean lines and a simple look for your vanity, you should consider the American Craftsman Vanity, AC3021. This Sagehill Designs vanity is based on the design elements of the American arts and crafts movement.

The Arts and Crafts movement challenged the tastes of the Victorian era by developing a style that embodied simplicity and and solid workmanship. In the US, craftsman such as Gustav Stickley strove to create clean looking affordable furniture that is very sturdy and was solidly built.

This vanity embodies these designs. The vanity has a matching mirror which is sold separately. It is constructed of solid wood and properly dried to prevent warping and cracking. The finish is sealed to prevent peeling and cracking. The vanity has two coats of paint and a clear coat of varnish.

This is a single sink vanity with a width of 30 inches, a height of 33.5 inches and depth of 21 inches. The vanity has antique brass hardware and rich oak double panel door with exposed dowels which is common in the arts and crafts style.

The vanity has a storage area below the sink as well as a shelf for additional storage. This vanity has a beautiful simple look that will add grace to any bathroom renovation.

Kitchen Sinks

September 6th, 2010 No comments

The most common kitchen sinks are stainless steel undermount sinks, farm sinks and copper sinks.  If you are looking for a double undermount sink, you might want to consider the Double Bowl Undermount Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink VG3121L

Having two sinks is very handy, as one can be the main sink and the second sink might be the one that you use with your garbage disposal and your food garbage.  These sinks are constructed of 18 gauge 304 nickel-bearing stainless steel.  The width is 32.50”, with the large bowl being 17.75”.  They are fully undercoated for maximum sound deadening and the undercoat prevents condensation.  The drain is not included.

If you are redoing your kitchen or just your kitchen counters, this is the type of sink that you might want to use as part of your renovation.  Having a deep sink is great for large pots and pans.  Also, keeping a stainless steel sink clean is so easy.  You can also purchase stainless steel cleaner to use on it.  Once you have a stainless steel sink, you will not want to have any other!

You can find this sink and many other styles at www.discountbathroomvanities.com.  Shipping in the Continental US is free and if you are shipping your order outside of NJ, you do not have to pay any sales tax.  Customer service is always available to help you with any questions that you may have.
